These stainless steel springs replace the spring supplied with the bi-directional device. It is recommended that the user upgrade to a different length spring when they felt that the spring they was using no longer provided sufficient tension to their skin on their device. The springs are available in two thicknesses 0.9mm and 1.25mm.
